Stateflows is a .NET-based framework for building executable State Machines. It targets .NET 8.0+ and uses actor model to achieve scalability and robustness. It comes with minimum dependencies and enables developers to write state-oriented business logic in a testable, object-oriented, enterprise-class code.

Entity Framework Core storage failures

An absent context row is treated as a new behavior. Database read errors and unreadable existing context payloads instead fail hydration; they never fall back to a new context that could overwrite durable state. Serialization and save errors also propagate to the caller (event processing reports Failed).

Context providers and holders release their behavior locks even when hydration or persistence fails. Behavior/state value writes and external side effects are not part of the context-save transaction and are not rolled back when event processing fails.
