OpenStrata.MSBuild.Publisher.ALM contains build definitions that drives the build activities of an Publisher.ALM project. The Publisher.ALM project is designed to enable a publisher to centrally define MSBuild Configurations (Debug, Integration, QA, Release, etc.) and the appropriate environmental information for each configuration. Environmental information includes but is not limited to a separate package repository for each phase, target Dataverse environments, connection information, etc.

This information is then consumed by an ALM project and applied during an MSBuild action which can be triggered any number of ways: Visual Studio IDE, Command Line, Azure Pipeline, GitHub Action, or any other means that allows for a download from a source code repository and the execution of an MSBuild or Dotnet Build command. See OpenStrata.MSBuild.Publisher.ALM

A publisher can apply changes organization wide to its ALM process by simply capturing the change details in a Publisher ALM Project and publishing an updated Publisher ALM Nuget Package.

Install OpenStrata.NET.Templates to get started.

After OpenStrata.NET.Templates is installed, create a Publisher.ALM project using the openstrata-publisheralm template.
