The resource of this package allows the implementation of a middleware in the pipeline of Http requests of ASP.NET applications, which performs the display of a standard form of basic authentication on specified pages.
About using the resource: Use the UseBasicAuthenticationForPage() extension method on the instance that implements IApplicationBuilder at application startup.
- UseBasicAuthenticationForPage() has only 3 parameters, they are: path: A keyword that exists in the route on which the authentication form is to be activated. userName: The username to be matched against the "User" entry of the authentication form. password: A password to be compared with the "Password" entry of the authentication form.
