Define interface(s), an implementation and decorate it with [AutoRegister] attribute:

AutoRegisterAttribute let's you specify

  • lifetime of the dependency
  • should the implementation be registered as itself or only as an implementation of the interfaces. When there are multiple implemented interfaces, the implementing class is always registered as self.
  • name of register method can. That allows you to create a partial class ServiceCollectionExtensions and provide your own method to register dependencies. It's useful when cross-cutting concerns need to be added.
