IEvangelist.Azure.CosmosRepository adapter for SelmanMade.OptionPatch.

Converts the PatchEntry list produced by an OptionPatch applier into an Action<IPatchOperationBuilder<T>> that you can hand to IRepository<T>.UpdateAsync.

Usage

The adapter matches each entry's path segment to a writable property on T (case-insensitive) and emits a Replace operation. Whole-value collection and dictionary entries pass straight through because OptionPatch materializes them into the entity's own types.

Limitations

  • Top-level properties only. Paths are matched to a single property via an x => x.Property expression, so flattened nested paths (e.g. /address/city) are silently skipped. For deep patches, use the raw Cosmos SDK adapter (SelmanMade.OptionPatch.Cosmos), which handles string paths natively.
  • Removals become Replace with null/default, not a Cosmos Remove, because the builder API is Replace-based.
