The DevOps.UI project provides a user interface layer for managing Azure DevOps work items. It includes models and commands for submitting bugs and feature requests, integrating with Azure DevOps through the DevOps project.

2. Features

Bug Management:

BugModel:

  • Represents a bug with fields like title, repro steps, priority, severity, and tags.
  • Supports attaching logs to bug submissions.
  • Provides a SubmitCommand for submitting bugs to Azure DevOps.

Feature Request Management:

FeatureModel:

  • Represents a feature request with fields like title, description, priority, and tags.
  • Provides a SubmitCommand for submitting feature requests to Azure DevOps.

Integration with Azure DevOps:

  • Uses VssConnection to authenticate and interact with Azure DevOps.
  • Leverages descriptors like BugDescriptor and IdeaDescriptor for structured work item creation.

Event-Driven Design:

  • Models raise events like SubmitResult and CloseWindowRequest to notify the UI of submission results and close actions.

3. Installation

You can install the package via NuGet Package Manager, Package Manager Console or the .NET CLI.
