Lyo.Sms.Postgres

EF Core PostgreSQL store for outbound SMS logs (SmsLogEntity). This package does not send SMS. It wires SmsDbContext so workers or gateways can persist send outcomes after Lyo.Sms / Lyo.Sms.Twilio completes.

Schema and entity

Dependency injection

  • AddSmsDbContext(string connectionString) registers a factory plus a scoped SmsDbContext (the scoped registration resolves a fresh context from IDbContextFactory<SmsDbContext>).
  • AddSmsDbContext (Action<DbContextOptionsBuilder> configure) registers via AddDbContext.
  • AddSmsDbContextFactory(PostgresSmsOptions) / AddSmsDbContextFactory (Action<PostgresSmsOptions>) register singleton options plus AddDbContextFactory with UseNpgsql and the migration history schema.
  • AddSmsDbContextFactoryFromConfiguration(IConfiguration, section = PostgresSmsOptions.SectionName) binds PostgresSms (or an override) then registers the factory.

When to prefer Lyo.Sms.Twilio.Postgres

If you rely on TwilioSmsResult (price, segments, account SID, direction), use Lyo.Sms.Twilio.Postgres (TwilioSmsLogEntity, keyed by Twilio message SID).
