DaisyBlazor.Charts.Server

Server rendering for DaisyBlazor.Charts.

DaisyBlazor charts compute their geometry with D3 layout modules. In the browser they run in the page; this package runs the same modules on the server with Jint, a JavaScript interpreter written in .NET. No Node.js is needed.

builder.Services.AddDaisyBlazorChartsServerRendering();

With it registered, charts render their finished SVG during prerendering and static server rendering, instead of a placeholder. The prerendered layout is handed to the interactive render (WebAssembly or a new circuit) through the persisted component state, so the chart never flashes back to a placeholder; charts sized by their box lay out again at its real size.

The first layout of each kind parses the D3 modules it needs (a few hundred milliseconds, once per engine); later layouts take a few milliseconds. Each concurrent request uses its own engine from a pool.
